Welcome to SchoolDock. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the SchoolDock platform, applications, websites, and services provided by SchoolDock Limited.

By accessing or using SchoolDock, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should discontinue use of the platform immediately.

1. Definitions

• “SchoolDock” refers to the SchoolDock platform, website, mobile applications, desktop applications, APIs, and related services.
• “Company” refers to SchoolDock Limited.
• “User” refers to schools, administrators, teachers, parents, students, and any individual or organization using the platform.
• “Content” refers to all data, files, notes, messages, media, records, and materials uploaded or generated on the platform.
• “Services” refers to all features provided through SchoolDock including school management, learning tools, CBT, finance management, virtual learning, messaging, games, and reward systems.

2. Eligibility

• Users must be at least 13 years old or use the platform under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or educational institution.
• Users must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Users must comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Schools registering on behalf of students confirm they have obtained the necessary permissions and consents required by law.

3. Account Registration and Security

Maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials. Ensuring all activities under their accounts are authorized. Promptly notifying SchoolDock of unauthorized access or security breaches. SchoolDock shall not be liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account access caused by user negligence.

4. Services Provided

SchoolDock provides educational and school management services including but not limited to:

• Attendance Management
• CBT and Examination Systems
• Report Card Processing
• Finance and Fee Management
• Hostel and Library Management
• Virtual Classes
• Messaging and Discussion Rooms
• Timetable and Lesson Planning
• File and Document Management
• Study Notes and Educational Resources
• Educational Games and Reward Systems

SchoolDock reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

• Upload illegal, harmful, abusive, or offensive content.
• Attempt unauthorized access to the platform or servers.
• Introduce malware, viruses, or malicious code.
• Use the platform for fraudulent activities.
• Copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the platform without written permission.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
• Manipulate reward, coin, or advertisement systems unfairly.

Violation may result in suspension or permanent termination of accounts.

6. Educational Content and AI Features

SchoolDock may provide AI-assisted educational tools, automated recommendations, tutoring assistance, and learning support features.

• AI-generated responses may not always be fully accurate.
• Educational content should be independently verified by teachers or institutions when necessary.
• SchoolDock is not liable for decisions made solely based on AI-generated content.

7. Reward, Coin, and Advertisement System

• Rewards are promotional and hold no direct monetary value unless expressly stated.
• Coin conversion rates, withdrawal limits, and eligibility may change at any time.
• Fraudulent activities, fake traffic, automated interactions, or abuse of advertisement systems will result in forfeiture of rewards and possible account termination.
• Minimum withdrawal thresholds and verification requirements may apply.

8. Subscription and Payments

Subscription fees are billed according to selected plans. Payments made are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. Failure to pay may result in restricted access to premium services.

9. Data Privacy

SchoolDock values user privacy and handles personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Collection and processing of relevant educational and operational data. Secure storage of records and uploaded content. Communication regarding platform updates, notifications, and educational activities. Users retain ownership of their uploaded content.

10. Intellectual Property

All platform software, branding, logos, designs, features, and materials are the intellectual property of SchoolDock Limited unless otherwise stated.

11. Availability and Maintenance

SchoolDock strives to maintain uninterrupted service but does not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with all devices and networks.

12. Third-Party Services

SchoolDock may integrate with third-party providers including payment gateways, cloud services, advertisement providers, educational integrations, and communication tools.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SchoolDock shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, data loss, service interruptions, unauthorized access, academic outcomes, or financial losses resulting from platform usage.

14. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless SchoolDock Limited, its officers, employees, and partners from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from misuse of the platform or violation of these Terms.

15. Account Suspension and Termination

SchoolDock may suspend or terminate accounts if users breach these Terms, engage in suspicious activities, abuse platform services, or violate applicable laws.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

17. Changes to Terms

SchoolDock reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
